Circuit
Artist review
By Dan Brisebois

Marina Del Rey, California based record label, Top Sail Productions, announces its first new artist signing, Canadian-based rock act CIRCUIT. Top Sail Productions, LLC, serves as both a production company and record label and has U.S. distribution through WEA, an AOL/Time Warner company. President/CEO Chuck Gullo, and parter Michelle Meena, VP Product Management are the two principals of Top Sail Productions.

Gullo, a 30 year veteran of the music industry, formerly serving as president of All American Music Group/Scotti Bros. Records and vice-president of A&M Records. Meena has had nearly 20 years experience in the industry and last served as product manager at All American Music Group/Scotti Bros. Records.

Gullo was first introduced to CIRCUIT by legendary radio personality Casey Kasem, who partnered with Top Sail Productions to release a series of hit compilation CDs entitled "Casey Kasem Presents America's Top Ten Through The Years." "Our goal is to continue to release an exceptional series of compilations with Casey, and to break our first new artist, Circuit. We have taken great care in choosing our first signing, and we feel Circuit has an incredible sound, enormous talent and the ability to become a worldwide phenomenon" says Gullo.

Circuit has already made a name for themselves in their native Canada. This year alone, the band performed at all the Ottawa Senator playoff games and were the first local band to ever play on the ice at the Corel Centre in front of 10,000 fans. Circuit has also been chosen to perform at all the Ottawa Renegades home games, and recently headlined Teen Expo at City Hall. Circuit is not just a hard-working rock band - they devote much of their time and energy to philanthropic efforts, including organizing and performing at a benefit for the American Red Cross, which raised over $25,000 for the organization.

"Circuit has been working hard on their own for many years now, writing songs, performing and building a following," says Gullo. "The fact that they spend so much time helping various charities just shows what great guys they are." We have great admiration for CIRCUIT as a band and as individuals. We are proud to be working with them and are certain we will have success.
