1967: Lords of London enter the Canadian top 100 with “Corn Flakes and Ice Cream,” at #99.

1969: “Something To Believe” by Sugar and Spice is released.

1972: Lighthouse are in New York City during the Schaefer Music Festival.

1973: Mahogany Rush is in Montreal for a show at the Moustache Club.

1974: Wenzday peak at #34 on the Canadian pop chart with their remake of the \’50s classic “Last Kiss.”

1974: Mahogany Rush are in Cleveland, OH for the first of a two night stand at the Agora Ballroom.

1978: Hank Snow spends the second of two weeks peaking at #93 on Billboard’s country chart with “Nevertheless.”

1978: Claudja Barry releases her album, GIRL MOST LIKELY.

1979: Touche release the single “Take A Look (But Don\’t Touch).

1979: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush are in Portland, Oregon for a show at the Paramount Theatre.

1980: Agharta release their self-titled, and only, album.

1983: Streetheart is in Winnipeg for a show at The Norlander Pub, the second of a five night run. The show is taped and used for the LIVE AFTER DARK album later that year.

1993: Tea Party is in Edmonton for a show at The Bronx.

1996: It was kicked out of the #1 spot for a couple of weeks, but Alanis Morissette sees “You Learn” top Canada’s RPM singles chart again, this time for a two-week run.

2002: Avril Lavigne‘s “So Complicated” reaches number one on Billboard.

2003: Tom Cochrane and Red Rider is in Camp Fortune, Quebec.

2003: Three Days Grace release their self-titled debut album.

2004: Blood, Sweat & Tears, Randy Bachman, and Lighthouse are all on the bill opening day of the first ever Rock The Park in London, Ont.

2005: April Wine, Chilliwack, and Sass Jordan are all on the bill for night two of Rock The Park in London, Ontario.

2006: Over $180,000 is raised for the Bethany Hope Foundation during Rock The Park in London, Ont. Headlining the closing night is Helix.

2007: Valdy is on stage during the Home Country Folk Festival in London, Ontario.

2008: Frank Marino is in Annapolis, Maryland for a show at Rams Head Tavern.

2010: Graham Shaw and Jennifer Hanson perform at McPhillips Station Casino in Winnipeg as part of the Manitoba Homecoming Festival.

2013: Burton Cummings is in San Juan, California for a show at the Coach House.

2014: Mariana’s Trench are on stage at Edmonton’s Klondike Days.

2015: Trooper is in Medicine Hat for a show at the Exhibition & Stampede.

2016: Lynne Hanson is on stage in Kemptville, Ontario at the Kemptville Live Music Festival.

2016: Harlots Webb re-release their only album on CD, 1990’s WILD TIMES with a different cover but no bonus material.

2016: Tragically Hip kick off their Man Machine Poem tour in Victoria.

2017: Bobby Taylor, frontman for The Vancouvers succumbs to leukemia while living in Hong Kong. He was 82.

2018: Alimony Brothers are in Vancouver for a show at Wise Lounge.
