Terry Black peaks at #12 on CHUM's pop
chart with "Unless You Care."

1969:
The Poppy Family's "Whch Way
You Goin' Billy?" tops Canada's pop chart.

1970: Ed Robertson of
Barenaked Ladies is born in
Toronto.

1975:
Ronnie Prophet peaks at #26 on
Billboard's country chart with "Sanctuary."

1982:
Coney Hatch kicks off a jaunt across
Canada, opening for Judas Priest at Le Colisee in Quebec City.

1983:
Coney Hatch is in St Louis, opening for
Iron Maiden for the last time, at Kiel Auditorium.

1985:
Loverboy debuts on Billboard's chart at
#93 with "Lovin' Every Minute Of It."

1987:
Paul Janz makes his only appearance in
Billboard's chart with "Believe In Me." It peaks at #25,
where it stays for two weeks.

1989:
Kim Mitchell is in Thunder Bay, Ontario
for a show at the Community Auditorium.

1990:
Bryan Adams sees several albums
re-released on CD for the first time, RECKLESS, CUTS LIKE A KNIFE, YOU WANT
IT YOU GOT IT and INTO THE FIRE.

1990:
Moving Targetz are in Scarborough,
Ontario at the Civic Centre. It's a Halloween Bash for the United Way
and their last show with drummer Duanne Welsh.

1994:
Joni Mitchell releases her TURBULENT
INDIGO album.

1995:
Triumph re-releases the second version of ROCK
& ROLL MACHINE, half that album in 1977, half from the '76
self-titled debut.

1996:
Dream Warriors release their third
album, THE MASTER PLAN.

1998:
Joni Mitchell is in Chicago for a show
at the United Centre.

2003: "Canadian Idol" winner Ryan Malcolm sees
his song "Something More" become the number one song in Canada.
It stays there for 11 weeks.

2004:
Jann Arden's life makes it to
paperback, with I'LL TELL YOU ONE DAMNED THING, AND THAT'S ALL I
KNOW.

2007:
Brian Plummer releases his last album,
PERFECT WORLD.

2012:
JFR Project are in Moncton, NB at The
Capitol Theatre.

2015: Juno Award winner
Bill Bourne is in Pierceland, Sask for a
show at Maguire's Bridge.

2016: Orillia, Ontario's Darker Still debuts on the
American DRT National Top 50 Rock Chart at #9.

2017:
One Bad Son and
Whale & The Wolf are in
Grande Prairie, Alberta for a show at Better Than Fred's.

2018:
Shred Kelly begin a UK tour in Guildford,
England with a show at The Star Inn.

2018: Juliez Andrewz Band release their new single,
"Found Myself."

2018:
Stompin' Tom Connors is posthumously
inducted in the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

2018:
Coney Hatch is in Calgary for a show at
Grey Eagle Resort.

2018: Mr Mouray release their debut album, BATS IN
DISGUISE.

2019: Most Likely Forever release their new album, FACTA
NON VERBA, and the title track as the first single.

2019:
Matt Mays + El Torpedo are in Edmonton for a
show at the Myer Horowitz Theatre.

Neil Young teams up with Crazy Horse for
the first time since 2012, for the new album, COLORADO.
