1966: They were loved so much after a three-night run earlier in the month, The Paupers are brought back to Boris’ Red Gas in Toronto.
1968: Steppenwolf‘s self-titled debut album is certified gold.
1971: Mahogany Rush is in Quebec City for a show at Pavillon Pollack.
1972: Stampeders are in Hawaii to end a three night run at the Honolulu Bowl.
1976: Hank Snow enters Billboard’s country chart at #98 with “You’re Wondering Why.” It’s gone a week later.
1978: Doucette is in Vancouver, opening for Sammy Hagar at the Pacific Stadium Concert Bowl.
1979: Touche is the musical guest on The Raes ‘ TV show.
1982: Coney Hatch‘s tour with Judas Priest ends in San Diego at the Sports Arena.
1986: Voivod are in Berlin at MusicLab Studios, working on their KILLING TECHNOLOGY album.
1987: Cowboy Junkies are at home in Toronto for a show at the Church of the Holy Trinity. It’s released the next year as the TRINITY SESSIONS album.
2000: Bryan Adams cameos on a couple of songs during The Who’s cancer benefit show at Wembley Arena in London, England.
2006: Alexisonfire is in Vancouver for a show at PNE Forum. It was a rescheduled date from February, when they stopped their free show 10 seconds in during the Olympics festivities because people were trampled.
2007: Billy Talent release their 666 LIVE album.
2011: Billy Talent are in Armoury Studios in Vancouver recording what would become their DEAD SILENCE album.
2012: Neil Young is in New York with Crazy Horse for a show at Madison Square Garden.
2012: Blue Rodeo re-release their debut album, OUTSKIRTS, in celebration of its 25th birthday.
2014: Polarity headlines a show in Toronto at Bovine Sex Club.
2014: Barney Bentall and the Grand Cariboo Opry are in Edmonton for a show at the Myer Horowitz Theatre.
2015: Trews are in Winnipeg for a show at the RBC Convention Centre.
2015: Lee Aaron and Prism are in Edmonton for a show at Century Casino.
