1882: Early 20th century pop tenor, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Henry Burr is born in St Stephen, New Brunswick as Henry Haley McClaskey.

1961: Paul Anka's "Story Of My Love" enters the Canadian charts at #16.

1964: Terry Black releases the single, "Unless You Care."

1972: Aaron Space's debut single, "Keep On Moving" climbs to #83, where it stays for three weeks.

1975: Myles & Lenny release their sophomore album, IT ISN'T THE SAME.

1975: Rush play with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.

1977: April Wine release their FOREVER FOR NOW album.

1979: Footloose appear on the Edmonton TV show, "Any Way You Want It." For their time, the band members are given gift certificates for blue jeans at a local clothing store.

1980: Doucette makes his second appearance on The Raes ' TV show.

1983: Headpins open for KISS in Ottawa at the Civic Centre.

1986: Kick Axe and Lee Aaron are in Winnipeg for a show at the Concert Hall.

1989: The Pursuit of Happiness see their single, "I'm An Adult Now" peak at #6 on Billboard's Alternative chart.

1989: "Live in Belgium," filmed during Bryan Adams' late 1987 tour of Europe airs on CBC.

1989: DOA plays at The Edge in Vancouver. Joining them onstage for "Takin' Care of Business" is Randy Bachman.

1998: George Fox sees his GREATEST HITS album certified gold in Canada.

2002: Bruce Cockburn releases the 'best of' ANYTHING, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.

2008: Econoline Crush release their IGNITE album.

2011: A resurgance in interest in the classics sees Guy Lombardo's "Auld Sang Lyne" peak at #2 on Billboard.

2011: Kim Wempe opens for Rawlins Cross at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton, NB.

2013: Texarillo releases their album, BLACK SATIN BLUES.

2015: CARAS (Canadian Association of Recording Arts & Sciences) announce Rush as the recipient of the 2015 Allan Waters Humanitarian Award.

2016: Holly Woods & Toronto are in Toronto for a show at The 40.

2016: Billy Talent drummer Aaron Solowoniuk announces he's taking a step back from the band, after a relapse of MS. Alexisonfire drummer, Jordan Hastings, takes over.
