1944: Anna McGarrigle is born in Montreal.

1946: The Paupers' Bill Misener is born in Hamilton.

1965: Paupers are in Toronto for the second of two nights at El Patio.

1966: Paupers end a two-night gig at the Red Gas Room in Toronto.

1976: A year after leaving The Guess Who, lead singer Burton Cummings is awarded a gold record for his million selling US top ten solo hit, "Stand Tall".

1977: Country star and former vocalist for Default, Dallas Smith is born in Langley, BC.

1978: Ian Thomas and Max Webster are in Winnipeg for a show at The Playhouse.

1978: It's Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush's first time in Japan, playing in Tokyo at Kourakuen Hall.

1979: France Joli is among the guests on The Raes ' TV show.

1980: Zwol is in Toronto for the second of a four night run at Nickelodeon.

1982: Teenage Head is in Collingwood, Ontario for a show at the Arlington.

1982: Chilliwack sees "Whatcha Gonna Do" peak at #41 on Billboard's chart.

1985: Ricky Rose & The Neighbourhood open for BTO at Uncle Sam's in Lundy's Lane, Ontario.

1985: Lee Aaron is in Markethalle in Hamburg, Germany.

1987: Voivod are in the studio to begin work on their DIMENSION HATROSS album.

1989: Sherry Kean releases her video and single "Diamonds & Pearls."

1993: "Please Forgive Me" by Bryan Adams begins a six-week run atop Canada's RPM singles chart.

1995: "Hand In My Pocket" by Alanis Morissette begins a four-week run on top of Canada's RPM singles chart.

1995: 54-40 are in Mushroom Studios in Vancouver, working on what would become the SMILIN' BUDDAH CABARET album.

1998: Moxy Fruvous is in Clinton, NY for a show at the Kirkland Arts Centre.

2004: Joshuas Habit are in Winnipeg for a show at The Zoo.

2010: The movie Hard Core Logo 2 is premiered at the Whistler Film Festival in Whistler, BC. It stars Headstones frontman Hugh Dillon.

2014: Lee Aaron is in Peterborough, Ontario for a show at The Venue.

2014: Trooper is Lake Louise, Alberta for a show at Chateau Lake Louise.

2015: Jim Galloway and The Project are live in Regina at the Lancaster Taphouse.

2015: Carson Cole is in Edmonton for the Biker Christmas Bash at Big Al's House of Blues.

2015: Punch Drunk Cabaret is in St Albert, Alberta for the first of a two-night stand at the Bourbon Room.

2017: Junkhouse's Tom Wilson releases his autobiography, "Beautiful Scars."

2018: Rush's Geddy Lee releases his new book, "Big Beautiful Book of Basses." To maximize sales, there are three versions available to the masses.

2018: Matchstick Skeletons open for Headstones in Waterloo, Ont at Maxwell's.

2019: Most Likely Forever release their new single, "Facta Non Verba."
