1979: The Rolling Stones are in Oshawa, Ontario for the second of two CNIB benefit shows. They were in lieu of a Keith Richards heroin conviction two years earlier. Margaret Trudeau is the backstage entertainment.
1983: "Who Knows How To Make Love Stay?" from Doug & The Slugs peaks on the Canadian chart at #25.
1983: Red Rider make their only appearance ever on American Bandstand, performing "Human Race" and "Winner Take All."
1985: Thor releases the ONLY THE STRONG album.
1986: Good Brothers are in Owen Sound, Ontario for a show at Brothers.
1988: Rush is in Birmingham, England for the second of two concerts released as the SHOW OF HANDS video.
1991: Dream Warriors release their debut album, AND NOW THE LEGACY BEGINS.
2003: Harem Scarem releases the album THE EARLY YEARS, a collection of demos, in Japan, a full month before its worldwide release.
2010: The Arrogant Worms perform the first of back to back nights at Horizon Stage in Edmonton.
2012: Parachute Club's Billy Bryans succumbs to cancer at age 64, passing away peacefully in a Toronto hospital.
2015: Fresh off the Monsters of Rock cruise to the Bahamas, Honeymoon Suite is in Largo, Florida for a show at the Largo Cultural Centre.
2015: Anvil is in Oshawa, Ontario for a show at the Oshawa Music Hall.
