1956: "Rhythm Pals," which features the band of the same name, debuts on CBC TV.

1960: Colin Linden is born in Toronto.

1976: Gordon Lightfoot is in Vancouver for a show at the Pacific Coliseum.

1979: Anne Murray gives birth to her daughter Dawn.

1980: Toronto release their debut album, LOOKIN' FOR TROUBLE.

1983: Flying saucers are sighted by many in attendance, while Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush are on stage during a festival in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
