1979: Max Webster opens for Rush on night one of a three-show gig at The Apollo in Glasgow, Scotland.

1981: The Rovers are on Solid Gold, lip-synching "Wasn't That A Party?"

1981: Loverboy peaks at #35 on Billboard's chart with "Turn Me Loose."

1981: April Wine peaks at #21 on Billboard's chart with "Just Between You & Me."

1992: Brian Too Loud Macleod, Headpins and Chilliwack guitarist and Juno winning producer dies of cancer.

1992: "Thought I'd Died and Gone To Heaven" by Bryan Adams tops Canada's RPM singles chart.

2015: BTO's NOT FRAGILE album is repackaged for its 40th anniversary. The new CD is remastered and contains bonus live material.

2017: FKB release their new single, "Bright Lights."

2018: I Mother Earth and Finger 11 are in Saskatoon for a show at O'Brians Event Centre. Proceeds go to the Humboldt Broncos charities.

2019: Celebrating 45 years on the Toronto music scene, Mike McKenna holds a show at the Black Swan Tavern. On the card is a plethora of area musicians over the decades, including members of Moxy, Luke & The Apostles, Ugly Ducklings, Kensington Market, Crowbar, and The Jeff Healey Band.

2019: It's announced the late Gord Downie will receive this year's Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award in a ceremony during the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards gala in Toronto in May, part of Canadian Music Week.

2020: Teaze is on stage in Windsor, Ont, at the Olde Walkerville Theatre.

2020: Super Distorter, Crummy, and Dirtbag Soul are in Vancouver for a show at Greedy Pig.
