1967: In Woodstock, NY, Bob Dylan and The Band begin to record what will become known as The Basement Tapes.

1967: Witness Inc enter Canada's top 100 pop chart for the first time with "I'll Forget Her Tomorrow," at #87.

1967: Collectors peak at #26 on the top 100 chart with "Looking At A Baby."

1974: Kurt Winter announces his departure from The Guess Who, citing exhaustion, barely four years after joining the group.

1977: Creed is in Belleville, Ontario at the Sun Valley Motor Inn for the fourth of a six-night run.

1978: Doucette releases the album, MAMA LET HIM PLAY.

1983: Blue Peter is in Toronto for a show at El Mocambo.

1984: Rush and Bryan Adams are at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas for The Texas Jam.

1980: Rush is in Glasgow, Scotland for the first of two shows at The Apollo. It's taped and becomes part of the EXIT STAGE LEFT album.

1985: Orphan releases their second album, SALUTE.

1988: The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, who'd suspended operations six months earlier because of a $2.5 million debt, is rescued by a $5 million financial aid package from the federal, provincial and municipal governments.

1993: Northern Pikes are in Montreal for a show at Le Spectrum. It's taped and winds up as part of their live GIG album later that year.

2002: Michelle Wright is in Zambia, filming a documentary for World Vision.

2003: Bruce Cockburn releases his YOU'VE NEVER SEEN EVERYTHING album.

2005: Helix is in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2006: Anvil is in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2008: Alanis Morissette releases FLAVOURS OF ENTANGLEMENT.

2010: The Rush documentary "Beyond The Lighted Stage" is premiered in select theatres around the globe.

2010: Duane Steele is in Red Deer, Alberta for the first of a two night run at The Matchbox.

2012: Available in the stores only in Germany, Matt Epp releases his NEVER HAVE I LOVED LIKE THIS album.

2013: Kingdoom is in Toronto for a show at The Opera House.

2018: Roland Corrigal releaes his new single, "Hot Summer Cool."
