1953: Percy Faith's "Song From Moulin Rouge" tops Billboard's chart.1967: Buffalo Springfield is in Macombe, Illinois for a show at Western Illinois University. The problem tho is the band only did a 15 minute set because they were late, and their gear was even later. The University stopped payment on the cheque.
1968: Buffalo Springfield play their last concert in Long Beach, California at the Sports Arena. It's the last show for everyone except drummer Dewey Martin, who tries to keep the name afloat for awhile with a new lineup.
1973: Hank Snow debuts on Billboard's country chart at #71 with "North To Chicago," the first of two weeks in that slot. It's gone by the third week.
1977: The Poles are in Toronto at A Space in Toronto, for night two of a four night stand.
1979: BTO perform "Heartaches" and "Jamaica" when they appear on "American Bandstand."
1979: Burton Cummings sees "Takes A Fool To Love A Fool" peak at #33 on Billboard's country chart.
1979: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush are in Pembroke Pines, Florida for a show at the Hollywood Sportatorium.
1979: Max Webster and Rush are at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England for the second night of a four show stand.
1979: Frank Mills' "Music Box Dancer" peaks at #3 on Billboard's chart.
1979: Ironhorse is on Billboard's chart for the first time with "Sweet Lui-Louise," peaking at #36.

1987: Six people are arrested and 20 are injured after riot police in Milan, Italy fire tear gas during clashes with angry fans locked out of a Neil Young concert.
