1944: John Caldwell of Mother Tucker’s Yellow Duck is born in Vancouver.

1947: Orest Andrews, guitarist for Gettysbyrg Address, is born in Winnipeg.

1962: Paul Anka guest stars on The Ed Sullivan Show for the third time.

1967: “I Take It Back” by The Shondells peaks on the Canadian chart at #50.

1967: Ugly Ducklings peak on the Canadian chart with “Just In Case You’re Wondering,” at #68.

1967: Stitch In Tyme is in the Canadian top 100 for the first time, at #43, with “Got To Get You Into My Life.”

1973: The Flying Dutchman are at Project 70 Studios in Edmonton, recording their IN THE MOOD WITH THE FLYING DUTCMAN album.

1975: Privilege is the entertainment in Lethbridge, Alta during the opening ceremonies of the Canada Winter Games.
