1964: Canadian Sweethearts release the single, "Hootenanny
Express."

1974:
Mahogany Rush is in Montreal to open a two night stand
at Theatre St Denis.

1974: Bob Dylan and
The Band wrap up their current tour with two shows at the Los
Angeles Forum. The show is partially used for Dylan’s BEFORE THE FLOOD lp.

1975:
Rush release the FLY BY NIGHT lp.

1975:
Joni Mitchell hits #24 on Billboard with "Big
Yellow Taxi".

1975: Formerly known as
Morse Code Transmission, the band shortens
its name to just Morse Code, and they release their first French album, LA MARCHE DES
HOMMES.

1979:
Joni Mitchell and
Oscar Peterson both win Grammys in Hollywood.

1984: It’s night two at the Hammersmith Odeon for

2016: Vanity (real name Denise Matthews) dies of kidney failure and drug
addiction in her Fremont, California home at the age of 57.

2018: The new
Thor movie, "Return of the Thunderhawk" premieres in
Vancouver at the Viper Room.

2018:
Sheepdogs are in Vancouver for the first of two nights at
Commodre Ballroom.

2018: After performing for over 50 years,
Jerry Doucette officially announces his retirement.

2018: Irish Descendents are in Cold Lake, Alberta for a show at Casino
Dene.

Shred Kelly kick off their tour in support of their new
album, ARCHIPELAGO, in Edmonton at the Starlite Room. It’s also the official release their
