1967: Pierre Lalond is home in Montreal for a show at The Forum.

1965: Catherine McKinnon releases her VOICE OF ANGEL II album.

1973: Anne Murray tops the RPM chart with “Danny’s Song,” ending a two-week run. It also peaks Billboard’s country chart this day at #10.

1973: Lisle releases their second and last single, “Shelly Made Me Smile.”

1974: Rene Simard is in Japan, where he wins ‘Best Singer’ and ‘Best Song’ awards at the Tokyo Music Festival for “Non….pleure plus.”

1975: Paul Anka hosts the Juno Awards in Toronto. He wins one of the awards, while Gordon Lightfoot, BTO, and Anne Murray each take home two.

1977: Oakley is in Richibucto, NB for the third of a five night run at The Bear’s Den.

1979: Anne Murray tops Billboard’s country chart with “I Just Fall In Love Again.”

1979: Gino Vannelli is in Richfield, Ohio for a show at the Coliseum.
