1997: 54-40 releases SOUND OF TRUTH – THE INDEPENDENT COLLECTION, a compilation of the band’s first two indie releases.

2004: Sum 41 arrive in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the charity organization War Child Canada to document the country’s civil war. Days after arriving, fighting broke out in Bukavu near the hotel where the band was staying. It took nearly two days, but they were eventually whisked out of the hot zone along with 40 other civilians and taken to safety by UN peacekeepers.

2007: Jeff Healy is in London, England for a show at the Hammersmith Odeon. The show is taped and becomes part of his SONGS FROM THE ROAD album.

2017: Composer/conductor/arranger Jimmy Dale dies peacefully in his sleep in Naples, Florida, at the age of 81.
