1970: Chilliwack release their self-titled debut album.

1973: Guess Who release their tenth album, entitled oddly enough, 10.

1975: Singer/songwriter Emm Gryner is born in Sarnia, Ontario.

1977: Trooper releases the KNOCK ‘EM DEAD KID lp.

1977: Creed is in Belleville, Ontario at the Sun Valley Motor Inn for the second of a six-night run.

1980: Corey & Trina are in Stephenville, Newfoundland, recording what would become the COREY & TRINA III album at Clode Sound Studios.

1984: Pretty Rough release the single, “Don’t Bite.”

1991: Gary Fjellgaard releases his WINDS OF OCTOBER album.

1997: David Wilcox is in Edmonton for the third of three acoustic shows at the Myer Horowitz Theatre.

1998: Bryan Adams, Glenn Gould, Gordon Lightfoot and Anne Murray are the musical inductees for the very first Canada’s Walk of Fame presentation in Toronto.

1999: The Helix compilation THE B-SIDES is released.

2002: Cool Sounds Japan re-releases the Tim Feehan albums, SNEAK PREVIEW and CARMALITA.

2002: Default peaks on Billboard’s chart at #13 with “Wasting My Time.”

2002: Carolyn Dawn Johnson peaks on Billboard’s country chart at #54 with “I Don’t Want You To Go.”

2003: Blackie & The Rodeo Kings release the album, BARK.

2006: Jeff Healey is in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2007: An all-star tribute is held at Carnegie Hall for Oscar Peterson. Peterson is unable to attend due to health problems.

2009: Doc Walker releases their single, “Coming Home” from the upcoming GO album.

2010: Kid Koala debuts his new single, “It’s All Over.”

2010: Danko Jones releases his new album, BELOW THE BELT to the American masses.

2011: Neil Young is on stage in Santa Barbara, Cal at the Santa Barbara Bowl for the second of a two night stand with a reformed Buffalo Springfield.

2012: Punch Drunk Cabaret release the single and video for “Ghosts of Harry Houdini”

2012: Gary Fjellgaard plays in Pierceland, Sask at McGuire’s Bridge.

2013: Rush is in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2015: The Collins Shaw Project releases the song and video, “Here We Go.”

2015: The Weeknd release the single, “Can’t Feel My Face.”

2016: Mark Bradac releases his new single and video, “Instigator of the Blues.”

2018: Bryan Adams is in Edmonton for a show at Roger’s Place. Not surprisingly, he doesn’t play his 1979 disco single or anything from his Sweeney Todd days.

2019: Lex Justice closes out a three night stand at Blues on Whyte in Edmonton.

2019: Danko Jones is in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2019: Brigade, one of Canada’s top Heart tributes, and featuring Dahlia Wakefield, is home in Edmonton for a show at the Newcastle Pub.
