1975: The Joe Mendelson and Rush show at Winnipeg’s Convention Centre is cancelled when Mendelson falls ill, reportedly of food poisoning.
1976: April Wine is in Ottawa for a show at the Civic Centre.
1977: Burton Cummings is in Chicago at WTTL Studios. The show is taped for the “Soundstage” TV show.
1978: Chilliwack release their LIGHTS FROM THE VALLEY album.
1978: Trooper releases their THICK AS THIEVES album.
1981: Harold MacIntyre releases the single, “Run Before You Crawl.”
1983: Triumph is among the performers in Houston at Texas Jam.
1982: Teenage Head peak at #23 on the Canadian chart with “Some Kinda Fun.”

1995: Bryan Adams tops Canada’s RPM singles chart with “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman,” for the fourth of a five-week run.
2000: Prairie Oyster releases their greatest hits album, STRING OF PEARLS.
2007: Avril Lavigne releases her single, “When You’re Gone.”
2011: Danko Jones drummer Dan Cornelius announces he’s leaving the band. He’s replaced days later by Atom Willard.
