1955:The Four Lads release the single “Moments To Remember.”

1957:Santers bassist Rick Lazaroff is born in Toronto.

1966:The Bossmen release the single, “Brainwashed.”

1974: BEFORE THE FLOOD, a live double album by Bob Dylan and The Band, is released.

1977: Teaze opens for Triumph at the Coliseum in Edmonton.

1979: Claudja Barry sees “Boogie Woogie Dancin’ Shoes” peak at #56 on Billboard, the second and last time she makes the chart.

1980: RCA releases the compilation, THE BEST OF THE FAMILY BROWN.

1981: Qwest release their debut album, TAMPICO GOLD.

1981: Rough Trade peak at #12 with “Highschool Confidential.”

1982: It’s a mega CanCon show at the Chicopee Ski Club in Kitchener, Ontario, as Toronto and Rough Trade are the headliners, and Headpins, Lee Aaron, and the Lydia Taylor Band are the openers.

1984: Parachute Club releases the single “Sexual Intelligence.”
