1960: The Beau-Marks peak on Billboard’s pop chart at #45 with “Clap Your Hands.”

1961: One-time drummer for Tower Bridge, Lambros Tsiandos is born in Edmonton.

1966: Dee & The Yeomen sneak into the RPM top 100 at 100 with “Baby It’s All Worthwhile.”

1966: Tom Northcott releases the single, “Going Down.” It debuts on RPM’s Top 100 list at #98.

1971: Creed and Whiskey Howl are in Toronto for a show at The Warehouse.

1974: Neil Young is in Vancouver with Crosby, Stills, & Nash for a show at the PNE Coliseum.

1978: Kathleen Edwards is born in Ottawa.
