1966: The Paupers are in Don Mills, Ontario for a show at the local curling rink. Also on the bill are The Spasstiks, The Del-Tones, and The Fugitives.

1968: Steppenwolf see “Born To Be Wild” peak at #2 on Billboard’s chart.

1972: Tineta Couturiere is born in Red Deer, Alberta.

1974: “You’re Having My Baby” – the controversial duet by Paul Anka and Odia Coates peaks on the UK chart at #6.

1975: Mahogany Rush is in Hamilton Township, NJ for a show at the Jersey State Fairgrounds.

1975: Rush is in Toronto for a show at the Exhibition Bandshell.

1975: BTO is in Vancouver for a show at Pacific Coliseum.

1979: “Diffrent Strokes” debuts on ABC TV, a sitcom whose theme song was co-written by Alan Thicke.

1983: Payolas are in Toronto at CNE Stadium, opening for Supertramp. Doing a cameo during “Never Said I Loved You” is Toronto’s Holly Woods.

2008: Frank Marino is in San Diego for a show at Brick By Brick.

2013: The Spoons are on stage in Parry Sound, Ont, at the Charles W Stockey Centre.

2014: Helix, Headpins, Toronto, and Streetheart are all on the bill at Rock The River, outside Saskatoon.

2019: Fog Blues & Brass Band is in Guelph, Ontario for a show at Ribfest.

2019: The 1221, Brooklyn Park, and Brotherhood and Co. are in Winnipeg for a show at The Cavern.

2019: Moist is in Calgary for a show at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. They perform their SILVER album live in its entirety.
