1971: Irish Rovers are in Vancouver for the second of two nights at PNE Coliseum.

1971: Joni Mitchell releases the single “Carey.”

1976: BTO is in Vancouver for a show at PNE Coliseum.

1978: Teaze is in Tokyo at the Nakano Sun Palace. The show becomes part of the TOUR OF JAPAN album.

1979: Trooper releases FLYING COLOURS.

1980: The Good Brothers are in Kitchener, Ontario at the Coronet Theatre for the first of a two-night stand. The show becomes part of their LIVE album later that year.

1982: Toronto‘s “Your Daddy Don’t Know” peaks at #3 on the Canadian chart.

1982: Coney Hatch is in Toronto, opening for Cheap Trick at the CNE Grandstand.

1983: Rough Trade opens for David Bowie in Toronto at the CNE Stadium.

1987: Tim Feehan releases the single, “Listen For The Heartbeat.”

1990: Rush releases CHRONICLES, their first ‘best of’ package.

1994: A star studded cast including Rush‘s Alex Lifeson, Tom Cochrane and Lawrence Gowan perform “All Along The Watchtower” at Toronto’s Kumbaya Festival.

1996: White Wolf‘s ENDANGERED SPECIES lp is re-released on CD as a Japanese import, ten years since its original release.

2001: April Wine releaese their BACK TO THE MANSION album.

2001: Bif Naked releases her album, PURGE.

2003: The Undesirables rock Hugh’s Room in Toronto.

2004: The Tea Party peaks at #5 on Billboard’s chart with “Seven Circles.”

2007: Helix‘s THE POWER OF ROCK & ROLL album is released in the US.

2008: Frank Marino is in Blanox, Penn closing out a two-month, 26 date North American tour at Moondogs.

2008: Bryan Adams performs a solo acoustic show to a sold-out audience at Toronto’s The Carlu.

2009: Bryan Adams performs at Edmonton’s Telus Field following a baseball game.

2010: Nelly Furtado performs for the first time in Warsaw, Poland.

2012: The Sheepdogs release their fourth album, self-titled.

2012: Matt Mays + El Torpedo release their COYOTE album.

2015: Early country pioneer Hal Willis dies of natural causes at the age of 82.

2015: The Dead South are in Cookeville, Tennessee for the Muddy Roots Festival.

2015: Bob Bryden releases the single, “Mona Lisa With The Dishpan Hands.”

2019: Tommy Grasley releases the single, “I Believe In Love.”
