1973: Mahogany Rush is in Windsor, Ontario for a show at Cleary Auditorium.

1973: Anne Murray peaks at #79 on Billboard’s country chart with “Send A Little Love My Way.”

1976: ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE, Rush‘s first live album is released.

1976: Stompin’ Tom Connors is in Chatham, Ontario for a show at the Memorial Community Centre.

1982: Lee Aaron is in Kitchener, Ontario to close out a three-night run at the Coronet Motor Hotel.

1983: Helix is in Buffalo, NY. The show is taped and winds up on disc 19 years later as LIVE IN BUFFALO.

1983: Loverboy is in Birmingham, Albama for a show at the Birmingham/Jefferson Civic Centre.

1984: Rush and Helix are in East Rutherford, NJ for a show at The Meadowlands.

1986: Blake Emmons hosts the CTV TV show “Chain Reaction” for the first time.

1992: POWERLINE, Lee Aaron‘s greatest hits package is released.

1994: Barenaked Ladies are in Detroit for a show at the State Theatre.

1995: Charlie Major releases his LUCKY MAN album.

1995: Alanis Morissette plays her first show ever in London, England, at the Subterrenia. On drums is Taylor Hawkins, who left to join the Foo Fighters a week later.

1996: Alanis Morissette is among the performers at Hyde Park in London, England in front of 100,000 people.

1997: Sarah McLachlan‘s “Building A Mystery,” regains top spot on Canada’s RPM singles chart, after falling out for two weeks.

1998: Aquarius Records re-releases IT’S A BUSINESS DOING PLEASURE by Helix on CD in the US.

1998: Joni Mitchell releases her TAMING THE TIGER album.

2007: Nelly Furtado enters Billboard’s singles chart at #88 with “Do It.” It’s gone a week later.

2007: Bif Naked marries Vancouver Sun sports columnist Ian Walker.

2008: Nickelback release the single, “Gotta Be Somebody.”

2009: Jann Arden releases FREE, her tenth studio lp.

2009: Sarah McLachlan releases the official theme of the Vancouver Olympics – “One Dream.”

2009: Default releases their third (and last) album, COMES AND GOES. Within a couple of years frontman Dallas Smith goes country.

2009: Nickelback release the single, “Never Gonna Be Alone.”

2011: The Sheepdogs‘ song “Who?” is featured in a scene from an episode of “CSI.”

2012: Helix is at the Masonic Temple in Stratford, Ontario.

2015: DOA‘s Joe Keithley performs a rare solo show at Cherry Colas in Toronto.

2015: Black Oake Decline releases their debut album, THE DEAD HAVE NOTHING TO SAY TO US.

2016: She’s left The Headpins, and The Darby Mills Project takes the stage at Blue Frog Studios in White Rock, BC for the first of a two-night stand.

2016: Mombius Hibachi release the single and video, the cover of David Bowie’s “Man Who Sold The World.”

2016: Sum 41 release the new single, “God Save Us All.”

2017: Shania Twain releases her new album, NOW. It debuts at #1 on the Canadian country chart.

2017: Max Webster release the eight-disc boxset, THE PARTY.

2018: Loverboy is in Mulvane, Kansas for a show at the Kansas Star Casino.

2019: Sum 41 and Three Days Grace are on the card in Louisville, KY for the Louder Than Life Festival.
