peaks on Billboard at #6.

Max Webster are on the card at Brock University in St Catharines, Ontario.
It's the first time they've played on the same bill.

Moxy are in Halifax for a show at The Forum.

Bruce Cockburn releases his JOY WILL FIND A WAY album.

1976:
The Family Brown reach #1 on the Canadian singles chart for the first time, with
"If You Keep Throwing Dirt."

1977: Creed is in Toronto to close out a four night run at The Black Swan.

1977:
Domenic Troiano is in Toronto for a show at Thunder Sound.

979:
Pat Travers' live version of "Boom Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)"
peaks on Billboard at #56 for the second of a two-week run.

Bill Henderson joins

Chrissy Steele at a benefit show at Vancouver's 86 Street Music Hall to
raise over $50,000 for
Brian MacLeod, who was fighting cancer and undergoing treatment at a Houston
medical clinic.

1999: Tara Lyn Hart releases her self-titled debut album.

Bruce Cockburn releases his Yuletide album, CHRISTMAS, which includes his own
song, "Shepherds."

2002: Donnell Leahy and
Natalie MacMaster tie the knot in a ceremony in Creignish, NS.

Bobby Cameron is nominated for best blues artist at the Toronto Independent
Music Awards, held at the Phoenix Concert Theatre.

2006: Singer, artist, producer, and radio host
Jackie Rae dies of natural causes in Toronto at the age of 85.

Connie Kaldor is made a recipient of the Order of Canada.

2007:
The Spoons and
Blue Peter are the entertainment during a New Wave Thanksgiving at The Mod Club in
Toronto.

2008:
Trooper is in Vancouver for a show at the PNE Gardens Ballroom.

Finger Eleven release the LIFE TURNS ELECTRIC album.

Trooper and
Moxy are in Halifax for a show at The Forum.

2018:
54-40 and
Skydiggers are in Vancouver for the first of a two night run at The Commodore.
54-40 are forced to play borrowed instruments, as six guitars and one mandolin were among
the items stolen from the band's van the night before. All but two acoustic guitars are eventually
recovered.

2018: Freudz Couch release their new single, "Freedom."

2019:
Bill Durst is in Toronto for a show at Hugh's Room.

2019: Daniel Caesar's single, "We All Find Love" is certified platinum in
Canada.
