Bobby Curtola peaks on the Canadian chart at #27 with "Come
Home Little Girl."

1974:
Steppenwolf see "Straight Shootin' Woman" peak at #29
on Billboard's chart.

1977:
CANO releases the NORD DU NOTRE VIE album.

1980:
Rough Trade release their AVOID FREUD album.

1981:
Triumph appears at the Public Hall in Cleveland, Ohio. The show is
broadcast as part of the King Biscuit Flower Hour series, then is released as a CD under the same
name in '96.

1988:
Frozen Ghost are in London, Ontario for a show at Dr
Rockitts.

1995:
Zappacosta releases INNOCENCE BALLET.

1998:
Barenaked Ladies see "One Week" top Billboard's
chart.

1991: Grapes of Wrath make their only appearance on Billboard's chart, peaking
at #27 with "I Am Here."

1999:
Jimi B releases LIVIN' ON MARS.

1999:
Helix re-releases LONG WAY TO HEAVEN on CD in the US.

1999:
Cowboy Junkies release their album, RARITIES, B-SIDES AND SLOW,
SAD WALTZES.

2000:
Big Sugar is in Regina for a show at Exhibition Stadium.

2002:
Thor is in Danbury, CT for a show at the New Town Teen Centre.

2004:
Sum 41 release their CHUCK album.

2004:
Crash Test Dummies release the album, SONGS OF THE
UNFORGIVEN.

2004:
Great Big Sea releases the compilation, GREAT BIG DVD AND
CD.

2004: Tripsonix release their sophomore album, UMBILICAL WORLD.

2006:
Joshuas Habit release the single, "Drama Queen."

2007:
Econoline Crush is in Weed, California at RadioStar Studios,
finishing up the upcoming IGNITE album.

2007:
Brian Plummer releases his final album, PERFECT WORLD.

2008:
Sarah McLachlan releases her new single from the upcoming
greatest hits album, "You Want Me 2."

2012:
Streetheart is in Edmonton for a show at Century Casino.

2012: Fans get their hands on Cindy Church's much anticipated fourth solo album,
SAD SONGS MAKE ME HAPPY during a CD release party at Hugh's Room in Toronto.

2013: Mel Degan and the 63rd Street Band play at LB's Pub in St. Albert,
Alberta. It's their last performance as 63rd Street Band before switching back to the original
name of Degan's most popular band from the '60s, The Lords.

2016: Crowsnest Films releases the documentary, "
The Smalls – Forever Is A Long Time."

2017:
Burton Cummings brings his 'up close & alone' tour
to Toronto's Massey Hall.

2017: Liona Boyd is on CBC Newsworld. In light of the multiple sex scandals with
movie magnate Harvey Weinstein, she says she too was a victim of sex abuse one upon a time, tho
she's never met Weinstein and doesn't give any juicy details on who, where, or when.
It's also good opportunity to plug her current book and CD she just happens to have on hand –
which have nothing to do with why she was brought on the program.

2018:
Crash Test Dummies are in Winnipeg for a show at the Club
Regent Centre celebrating the 25th anniversary of GOD SHUFFLED HIS FEET, performing the album in its
entirety.

2018: It's unveiled that
Harlequin bassist Paul McNair will front the reformed
Streetheart in the coming year.

2018:
54-40 release their new single and video, "How's Your Day
Going?"

2019: The Derina Harvey Band is in Lloydminster, Alta for a show at Station
51.

2019:
Valdy appears in Bonnyville, Alberta for the first time, for a show at the
C2 Centre.

2019: Wil and Shawn Verreault are in White Rock, BC for a show at Blue Frog
Studios.
