The Band release their MOONDOG MATINEE album.

Neil Young release his TIME FADES AWAY album.

1978: Pinball is in Toronto for a show at 635 Queen Street East. The posters
don't say the actual venue's name, and admission is a whopping 10 cents.

1977:
Patsy Gallant peaks on Billboard's chart at #6 with
"NY to LA."

1978: Hank Snow spends the first of two weeks peaking at #93 on
Billboard's country chart with "Ramblin' Rose."

1978:
Max Webster is in Montreal for a show at The Forum Concert
Bowl, opening for Peter Gabriel.

1980: Walk Off The Earth's Sara Blackwood is born in Burlington,
Ontario.

1983:
Bryan Adams is on Solid Gold, where he lip synchs "This
Time."
Gordon Lightfoot is also on the show, pretending to sing,
"Salute."

1983:
Paul Anka is on American Bandstand, where he sings "Hold Me
'Til The Morning Comes" and "Gimme The Word."
Loverboy's video for "Queen of the Broken Hearts" is
also played.

1989: Kideo is on stage at the Cultural Arts Centre in Chatham, Ontario.

1997: An MTV-Series CD BEST OF
LEE AARON is released as a German import.

Harem Scarem releases the BELIEVE – THE SPECIAL EDITION album
in Japan only.

2004:
Matthew Good sees his WHITE LIGHTROCK AND ROLL REVIEW album
certified gold in Canada.

Natalie MacMaster releases her YOURS TRULY album.

Frankie Venom, real name Francis Kerr, frontman for
Teenage Head, succumbs to cancer in a Hamilton hospital at
the age of 52.

Colin James is in Ottawa for a show at the National Arts
Centre.

2012: Scalped tickets go for as much as $4,000 for Justin Beiber's show in
Edmonton.

Paul Brandt releases his album, JUST AS I AM.

Grapes Of Wrath release the video and single for

2013: The Stanfields release their acoustic album, FOR KING &
COUNTRY.

Boulevard reunites for a show at The Back Stage Lounge. A part of

Lee Aaron close out a two-night stand in Edmonton at Century
Casino.

Bobby Cameron releases his new single, "Sueanna,"
a staple of his live shows for years, but until now never released.

William Prince wins Aboriginal Artist of the Year for the
Western Canadian Music Awards. Brett Kissel wins for Country Artist of the Year, and Striker
wins for Metal/Hard Music Artist of the Year.
