two week run.

1968:
Kensington Market are in Detroit for the first
of a two night run at the Grand Ballroom.

1974:
Bachman Turner Overdrive see NOT FRAGILE hit the number one
position on Billboard's album charts.

1974: "Freedom For The Stallion" by
Edward Bear peaks at #14 on the Canadian
charts.

1979:
Triumph is in Upper Darby, PA for a show at Tower
Theatre.

1982:
Bryan Adams is in Little Mountain Sound Studio in
Vancouver, working on what would become his CUTS LIKE A KNIFE album.

1982:
Chilliwack releases the OPUS X album.

1987:
Bryan Adams headlines a show at the Hammersmith
Odeon.

1987:
Blue Rodeo release the single, "Try."

1988:
Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush are in London,
Ontario for a show at Dr Rockitts.

1991:
Anne Murray peaks at #56 on Billboard's country
chart with "Everyday."

1993:
Rush releases the COUNTERPARTS album.

1996:
Rush set out alone on their TEST FOR ECHO tour at Albany,
NY's Knickerbocker Arena. The tour is the first time ever without having an
opening act, or being one.

Blue Rodeo's PALACE OF GOLD album peaks at #6 on
the Canadian Albums Chart.

Bryan Adams releases the ROOM SERVICE album.

2004:
Steppenwolf releases the LIVE IN LOUISVILLE DVD.

Alanis Morissette releases the single,

2004: Gord Bamford releases his sophomore album, LIFE IS GOOD.

2008: The annual West Coast Music Awards is held in Edmonton. Among the
winners are
Spirit of the West and jazz great (and
appointed Liberal senator) Tommy Banks, both inducted into the Hall of Fame.
