1975: Thundermug‘s TA-DAA album is released in the US.

1976: Anne Murray peaks at #22 on Billboard’s country chart with “Things.”

1976: Triumph is in Toronto for a show at Larry’s Hideaway.

1979: Stonebolt is among the guests on The Raes ‘ TV show.

1980: The Concordes and Teenage Head open for Eddie & The Hot Rods at The Masonic Temple in Toronto.

1980: Bruce Cockburn releases his HUMANS album.

1982: Rush see “New World Man” peak at #21 on Billboard’s chart.

1991: 54-40 release their compilation album, SWEETER THINGS.

1993: Spirit of The West‘s album FAITHLIFT peaks at #27 on the charts.

1993: “Starting All Over Again” by One Horse Blue peaks at #7 on the Canadian country chart.

1998: Bryan Adams is in New York shooting the video to “When You’re Gone” with Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls, who sang back-up on the song.

1998: Joni Mitchell is on tour with Bob Dylan, in Kanata, ON for a show at The Corel Centre.

2001: Matthew Good Band releases their final album as a band, THE AUDIO OF BEING.

2006: Bob Segarini‘s first vinyl venture, the 60’s psych-synth group Family Tree is released on CD, including a few unreleased gems.

2007: Hedley releases their sophomore album, FAMOUS LAST WORDS.

2007: The Tea Party releases LIVE – INTIMATE AND INTERACTIVE.

2008: A benefit for ex- Coney Hatch, Guess Who and April Wine member Carl Dixon is held at the Phoenix in Toronto. Former Coney Hatch mate Andy Curran, Russ Dwarf from the Killer Dwarfs, Brighton Rock, and Helix are all on the bill.

2009: Marianas Trench debut their new video for the single, “Beside You” on MuchOnDemand.

2012: Walk Off The Earth release the EP (not the album of the same name from earlier in the year), REVO.

2012: Emerson Drive releases the album, ROLL.

2015: Carol Welsman is in concert at the Glenn Gould Theatre in Toronto.

2015: Ex-Big Wreck frontman Ian Thornley releases his third solo album, SECRETS.

2015: Danny Latham, bassist for Longtrain, Just Kidding II, Headpins, Doug & The Slugsand Steele Macleod & Prisoner succumbs to cancer at the age of 52.

2015: Cowpuncher, League of Wolves, and Jordan Welbourne are on the bill at the Capitol Music Club in Saskatoon.

2018: Paul James Band release their new single, “It’s Halloween.”

2019: Daniel Caesar’s latest single, “Blessed” is certified gold.

2020: Chris Strei releases his new single and video, “Prison Bound Man.”
