1966: It’s a fun night at The Hawk’s Nest in Toronto, when Paupers are on stage, along with Dee & The Yeomen, The Manx, and The Evil.

1966: Buffalo Springfield, featuring Canadians

Neil Young, Dewey Martin, and Bruce Palmer are in Brentwood, California for a private show at Steve McQueen’s house.

1976: Rush is in Passaic, NJ for a show at the Capitol Theatre.

1979: Triumph is in Mississauga, Ontario at Metalworks Studio. The sessions are used a few months later when PROGRESSIONS OF POWER is released.

1980: Gus closes out a three night stand at Riverside in Toronto.

1980: Bob McBride is on the third of a six night run at Alastair’s in Toronto.

1980: FM is in Toronto for a show at Nickelodeon.

1982: Goddo is in Kitchener for a show at the Coronet Motor Hotel.

1983: Saga open for Eddie Money at the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester, NY.

1984: Coney Hatch is in Oshawa, Ontario for a show at Jubilee Pavilion.

1986: Fred Stone, flugelhornist, trumpeter, pianist, composer, writer, and music educator, who played with the CBC Orchestra for years, as well as doing stints in

Lighthouse and Duke Ellington’s Orchestra, dies of a heart attack in his Toronto home at the age of 51.

1988: Killer Dwarfs are in the UK with Iron Maiden, for the first of a two-night stand at London’s Wembley Arena.

1992: Northern Pikes see their NEPTUNE album go gold.

1999: Rick Danko of The Band dies in his sleep in his Marblestown, NY home, days shy of his 56th birthday. He’s buried in Woodstock, NY, next to his son who’d died ten years earlier.

2002: Alanis Morissette releases the CD/DVD combo FEAST ON SCRAPS.

2005: Harlequin plays a show in Bonnyville, AB at the newly built Centennial Centre.

2006: Bruce Cockburn takes home the Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Instrumentalist – Solo, for his album, SPEECHLESS.

2007: The Road Hammers see the release of their first single in the US, “I Don’t Know When To Quit.”

2010: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush are in Cleveland, Ohio for the first of a two-night stand at the Agora. The shows are released on DVD a few years later.

2010: Bruce Innes and Friends are in Calgary for a show at Carlson’s on Macleod.

2011: Buffalo Brothers reunite at The Office in London, Ontario to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their MAGIC INCINERATOR album’s release.

2013: Suzie Vinnick releases her new single and video, “Oreo Cookie Blues.”

2015: Platinum Blonde is in Toronto for a show at the Mod Club Theatere.

2015: Nickelback release the single “Make Me Believe Again” in the US.

2016: The Guess Who are in Fargo, ND for a show at the Civic Arena.

2016: James Buddy Rogers and The Blue Hearts are in Victoria, BC for a show at My Bar & Grill for a fundraiser and silent auction.

2016: Trooper is in Huntsville, Ontario for a show at Deerhurst Resort.

2019: Collins & Streiss release their latest album, FREEDOM’S CAPTIVE.
