UNDADOGG’s debut release “Ano De Dolor” has sold over 1000 copies independently. Since then, the band has released “Jinx”, a 5 song EP showcasing some of their newer material. Both releases received great support from college radio. The band was featured on 88.1 CKLN’s Dub and beyond program where they were interviewed and performed a live to air acoustic set. UNDADOGG is currently in the studio recording their new CD and plan to tour and shop the disc in the Canadian, US and European market. UNDADOGG gigs regularly in and around Toronto and Montreal. The band’s live performance is definitely their strength, and always satisfies their ever-growing fan base. UNDADOGG create a mood that sets them apart from the masses. Music lovers and critics are easily won over after seeing UNDADOGG perform: “I almost peed my pants when I heard a great musicians and a great singer in the same band!” (Vanessa Bruno, Chart Attack CMW Review 2003), They can pull off sexiness without being raunchy. I f the sounds of Portishead, Hooverphonic, Sneaker pimps and Massive Attack interest you, you will probably enjoy UNDADOGG. By fusing various different musical genre’s together: down tempo trip hop, hints of drum and bass and break beats, indie rock, dark atmospherics, heartbreaking lyrics and sultry female vocals, UNDADOGG’s sound is familiar but refreshingly unique and difficult to forget. UNDADOGG founding members, singer/lyricist Andrea Lucarelli, and twin brothers Ruben-guitar, and Remi Miguez-drums, have been playing together since high school. Formed in 1998, this Toronto based band’s line up also includes bassist Jason Skiendziel and keyboardist Christian Kada.
