1961: Lennex and Honeymoon Suite frontman Johnny Dee is born in Niagara Falls, Ontario as John Richard DeGiuli.

1968: Gordon Lightfoot is in Vancouver for a show at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

1968: Kensington Market close out a two night run at the Grand Ballroom in Detroit.

1978: Triumph is in Chicago for a show at the Agora Ballroom.

1979: Triumph is in Harrisburg, PA for a show at Forum Auditorium.

1982: Bryan Adams is in Little Mountain Sound Studio in Vancouver, working on what would become his CUTS LIKE A KNIFE album.

1988: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush release the DOUBLE LIVE album while in Dayton, Ohio, opening for Johnny and Edgar Winter at the Dayton Hara Arena.

1989: FM is in St Catharines, Ontario for a show at The Hideaway.

1994: Neil Young joins Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen onstage at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. The trio perform "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" and "Highway 61 Revisited."

1995: Tom Cochrane releases his RAGGED ASS ROAD album.

2000: Nickelback release the single, "Old Enough."

2001: The Smalls perform their last ever concert until reuniting 15 years later at Red's in Edmonton.

2004: Celine Dion's single "Miracle," enters the Billboard charts at No. 4.

2006: Greg Keelor is on stage with The Sadies at the Central Bar and Grill in Victoria, BC.

2009: Paul Naumann, best known for his guitar work with Nucleus and A Foot In Cold Water, dies from complications of liver problems in a hospital in Taos, New Mexico, where he was living.

2009: Theory of a Deadman releases the second version of SCARS & SOUVENIRS, this time with bonus material and a DVD.

2009: Priestess release their sophomore album, PRIOR TO THE FIRE.

2010: Dean McTaggart releases his DROP THE NEEDLE IN THE GROOVE album.

2010: Nelly Furtado and David Clayton-Thomas receive stars on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.

2012: Diana Krall peaks on the Billboard jazz chart at #6 with "Glad Rag Doll."

2012: Hedley peak at #25 on Billboard's chart with "Kiss You Inside Out."

2012: Tragically Hip peak on Billboard's albums chart at #129 with NOW FOR PLAN A.

2016: Mashmakhan singer/bassist passes away peacefully in his Saskatoon home at the age of 72.

2017: Broken Social Scene is in Vancouver for a show at the Commodore Ballroom. Belle Game opens.

2017: Numero Group release the Jackie Shane compilation, ANY OTHER WAY - a compilation of her singles, live album, and outtakes.

2018: DOA frontman Joe Keithley (aka Joey Shithead) is elected to council during Burnaby, BC's municipal election.

2018: Big Sugar is in Vancouver for a show at The Commodore.

2018: Milk Crate Bandits are in Vernon, BC for a show at the Vernon Jazz Club.

2019: Sloan is in Lloydminster, Sask for a show at the Vic Juba Community Theatre, as part of the 25th anniversary of their NAVY BLUES album.

2019: Toque release their new single and video, "Never Enough For You."
